Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla, better known as Anahí (Spanish pronunciation: [anaˈi]), (born May 14, 1983), is a Mexican actress and singer. She began her career as a child participating in several television series and movies, several of which earned her awards such as the Ariel Award and from the Palme d'Or Award.[1] She gained international fame after being cast as Mia Colucci in the hit Mexican telenovela Rebelde, and as a member of the Latin Grammy-nominated pop group RBD.
Contents.Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla was born on May 14, 1980,[2][3] to Enrique Puente and Marichelo Portilla.[4] She has one sister named Marichelo, and a niece named Ana Paula. When she was a child she was the face of a well-known soft drink brand and recorded a song called "Te doy un besito" which was played at the end of a children's daily programming on Channel 5 in Mexico.
